§ 20.02.040. Public hearings.

- The commission may establish its own rules for the conduct of public hearings and the member presiding at such hearing shall have power to administer oaths to any person testifying. The commission may for any reason, when it deems such action necessary or desirable, continue any hearing to a certain date, time, and place, and public announcement of such date, time, and place of hearing to be continued shall for all purposes be sufficient notice thereof to all persons.(Prior code § 19.96.020 (Ord. 557 § 411, 1964))
